    Re: Neff V5340X0GB/03 pressure chamber

Don’t be tempted to remove the weight it will almost certainly already be cracked and removal will finish it off quote]

I’m glad I asked, I had considered that approach!

I assumed it was Smeg made as there are similarities with the earlier Smeg/Whirlpool that has the PCB behind the bottom panel and the pressure bell behind the weight.

I did flush the chamber through with cold water (I’ll use hot next time) but I couldn’t get my fingers onto the pressure bell, I could feel the end where the small hose connects and I could get to the area where the tube from the door seal attaches but the weight moulding restricts any other access. I did tell the customer to run a descaler through the machine to ‘hopefully’ remove any other residue.

If flushing it through doesn’t work , what do you do next??

Also, if you can’t remove the weight, how do you connect the tube when replacing the door seal? I have done one without removing the weight but it was a real PITA.

    Re: Stoves 600 E2H (RS2) Regulator

Following a search on connect I came up with this one as well, when I went to fit it found it was different fixing from the original.

Having done a PNE with Connect it looks like it’s the 5031688363526.

Thanks anyway Alan (Is this down the road as in AM or with PW?)

I have already ordered the correct part, I don’t like fitting parts that are not correct even if they get a job done.

I was just curious if there is a difference.

Once I have the correct one I will compare it and if the same leave a note here.

    Thanks,

    Keith.

What’s Masterparts returns policy nowadays. If returning incorrectly ordered parts is 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} this will only cost you £9999.99 😆

An F11 error indicates a ‘Communication error’.

Possibly loose connection or control unit.

If you look at this yourself make sure you unplug first!

Re: Indesit IWDE12 not draining; can’t open pre-chamber lid

Not being able to remove the lint filter in a drain pump is usually caused by one of two things.

    1) Foreign object stuck in the sump hose sticking part way into the filter chamber preventing the back of the lint filter coming beyond the pump inlet.

    2) Excessive scale built up in the chamber preventing the removal.

You also have to watch the prices on-line after placing an item in your basket.

On several occasions now I have put an item in the basket in the morning and when I place the order in the afternoon the price has increased considerably.

This is a pet hate of mine,

    50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is outrageous…….

I wouldn’t mind so much if they are prepared to compensate us for going to a machine stripping it to fit a part only to find it’s faulty or incorrect then to rebuild the machine, return to the office to fill out the return request and pack the return item!
This puts us to far more inconvenience and time than they incur through us returning spares!

    Thanks…Rant over!

My money is on the module and door lock, as the pump seemed to check out OK.

Re: Bosch Microwave Oven turntable runs when not in use.

As the machine required an element as well as the main PCB the customer has decided to replace rather than repair.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I’ve found the same in the past and assumed this was going to be an easy repair!

This machine has a simple switching mechanism and works OK.

The bulb still works on his oven.

Was it the power PCB that blew?
