ParticipantThe thing is, the search is also case insensitive. Would making it case sensitive make those 3 letter searches easier, especially when they are full words?

ParticipantThanks Dave,
Appliance has hardly been used, but I’ll do as you suggest and report back.

ParticipantYes some, but not as much as expected. It’s as if it’s not pumping the water correctly and instead overflows. As well as a filter at the front of the evaporator, this machine has an insert with another filter underneath the evaporator/condenser (position 563, part no M507525 on ASWO), I’m not sure what its purpose is. Now wondering if it’s got anything to do with it.

Thought you mistyped the Qualtex price, Dave, such is the difference, but I’ve just checked and £13 it is!

Participantemail address is correct and there’s nothing in the spam folder or clutter folder.
Have sent them an email (account manager), let’s see what happens.

ParticipantEventually the invoice appeared online and I received an email from DPD (not Qualtex). Are you getting an invoice through email? I have received zilch from them and also I can’t download the invoice from the site?

ParticipantI’ve just placed an order but it doesn’t show on the list and I’ve had no email confirmation. Is this how it now works, ‘cos if it is I’m not sure that’s an improvement?

ParticipantSpot on advice Dave, the cleaning worked. The customer actually removed the switch front, cleaned the back of it and all is working properly now.

ParticipantIn most of the cases lately, they didn’t have the part I was looking for. I made an enquiry for one that was out of stock (found it cheaper at B&Q in the end), but most of the time the part just doesn’t come up.
However if I think on and have the time, I will let them know if I find things cheaper elsewhere.

ParticipantGood question.
Plus have you seen the price of these things!!

ParticipantAh I see, yes it’s worth a shot. Thanks Dave.
I hasten to add my callout charge is not £109 by the way

ParticipantLooks good, shame anything I’ve needed since they’ve launched, they haven’t got or ASWO is cheaper.

ParticipantThanks K and Dave,
Much appreciated.
Having looked at Neff’s repair service, they also charge the parts on top of the £109 callout and labour charge, so not much different from what I would do. Not sure they would charge less for their parts either.
It’s actually not a pyrolytic clean oven, customer tells me.
I will let them know all you mentioned and let them decide what they want to do. When you say clean the panel, I assume you mean me cleaning it inside and out, not just an external clean by the customer?
