    His insurance wont pay . The only insurance that will pay would be if you have break down cover insurance your self.His insurance will only be for public liability.

    M6012W This machine has a thermister
    Had one the other day customer complained it was shrinking clothes because to hot . Found that the flooring people had moved machine and connected hoses wrong way round.

    If manufactureres kept parts for every model they had made in the last twenty years they would need very big warehouses . And parts kept ,cost money to store . And no one can afford that.

    current AEG’s look positively Zanussi-ish

    Thats because they are part of the same group ie:- Electrolux

    3E is a motor related fault which is why it fills and empties but no motor action. so could be motor or control module fault.

    Machine is overfilling if water gets to bottom of door. So engineer time to sort it out.

    The button is not ment to stay in ,it is only a contact switch it will be the hold relay pcb that is faulty.

    POWER OFF IF REMOVING ANY PANELS

    The hole should be there it connects back on to wash tub to drain water away from door seal.

    Replace with new belt and try, once they ride over the rim they are distorted.

    They will do repair under guarantee from serial no if you contact Servis, and serial no starts with 2006 also state it was a prezy.

    If you hold top and bottom of drum pulley is there movement, because it sounds as if your bearings are shot which will make the drum tilt foreward so that the belt will allways move to front of pulley.

    Servis Part no 518008400 this machine must be only 6 months old with this type of pump, so would still be under guarantee whats the serial no first 6 digits are year an week of manufacture.

    You need a CORGI registered engineer, they are the only ones allowed to service gas appliances.
