    Re: Beko WMB71231W Trips RCD

sounds like a harness fault. I’ve had a couple where the wires rubbed through to the cabinet near the interlock and vibrations caused a short. no RCD makes it easier as you can see the blow mark, but in this case you’l have to look very closely

    Re: ntc plugs

the plugs used are IDT type so its fiddly to remove and refix the wires with the danger of breaking the plug in the process. you only get one shot at reuse but a few spare plugs would make a simple and cheap repair.

Re: BEKO DCU7230 Tumble Dryer No Heat

double check the heater ntc if it’s outside limits up or down you’ll get no heat I hook on an old hotpoint washer ntc to check.

not much coming in at all. just hope that I can on in for the next few years until retirement, but with the price of new so low and the modern idea of “just chuck it” I do worry.

check the ntc on the heater if its outside limits you get no heat if you have one hook an old wma heater ntc on to test it. I’ve got the resistances somewhere I ‘ll see if I can find them.

have seen someone recommend pre drilling a small hole into the side of the new paddle in order to be able to insert a small screwdriver to lift the tab.
