first thing I asked the customer when they booked the call and they had noticed nothing. thats why after checking all the obvious I let it run and still no fault codes showing for me. as I say individually everything works as it should but through a cycle its on a go slow / stop

    sorted this for future info:
    load 2
    live P1
    link wire P1 to S1
    neutral 4A
    pilot / neon S2

heres the bit that might cause trouble. in order to sort this out I rang various people including hotpoint and was told “information is no longer included with spares on health and safety grounds as it encourages the untrained to fiddle”
I thought this was a mith but yesterday I go a new interlock for an aqualtis included were two leads and no information sheet. ok I worked it out but hotpoint were always pretty good on info this mith might just be true

    anyone heard anything?

sorry to say I find the search pretty useless as it seems to lead to pages and pages to trawl through often without any usefull result.
I dont mean this as a complaint only as a possible usefull comment that might be a spur to improve what I now regard as a top site.

take a small socket set with you. I fitted stats to one of these and found the fixing bolts to be an odd size.

I had one where it turned out to be the tank leaking fron a very small pin hole. looked like the tank had rubbed during it going in and out. now I always fill them and let them rest a while to test first.

the sun at sunrise or sunset this time of year is a wonderful sight but as it doesnt rise high in the sky I do tend to curse the smears on my windscreen as you can easily get dazzled.

    watchout for the bad roads!

look at the element fixing bracket from the side you might see that its not quite 90 degrees you can push it into 90 with a pair of grips. you can if you want lay the element onto the floor and push the top element down slightly near to where it turns into the bracket DO NOT HIT IT WITH A HAMMER.

    Re: Rogue customer

after going on a local police card fraud course there is no way I would allow my card to be used in a mobile card machine if i didnt know the person holding it. I would expect to have my cheque accepted in my own home. my work is about 60/40 cheque cash with cheques costing me 28p and the very low number of rubber ones is not a problem as its usually sorted by an embarrased customer.
