    two wires far right the one with the sleeve goes to the right (closest to the side of the machine ) it caught me out once

    spindryer and twintub belts were NOT the same. sorry cant remember the numbers

    check the wires on the motor connection plug block

    had one once where the sump was blocked causing a poor spin to start with then a poor drain of the condensor discharge . its worth a look

    undo the nut and remove, take out the ntc, knock the threaded shaft right back through the rubber then push the rubber into the machine the heater will then be able to come forward and turn slightly to the side then work out the rubber starting from one end using a small screwdriver and long nose pliers

    coming from Northamptonshire and growing up in a street with three shoe factories in it it has been sad to see loss of a traditional industry. once again its all to do with price. one of my customers a former shoe factory owner was telling me how the final nail in his business came when the wholesale cost of imports was less than the boxes he packed his shoes in.

    I used to buy my safety shoes direct from the factory shop (toetectors rejects) usually lasted me about a year cost £12 now I buy imports from the ordinary shop at £15 and they last about 3 months!
    as for griggs (dm)I always found them uncomfortable.

    watch out for the ELE4207 just fitted two in gurantee both lasted about three weeks I put it down to a bad batch as I dont usually find much fault with electrue pattern elements. fitted a gen hotpoint and so far seems ok …………….I hope!

    check valve coils not gone short circuit, pull the wires off and see if you loose pump is a quick test.
