never ever! nor should work alone as in “fetch the key from where ever” YOU ARE AT RISK! it is up to you to prove inocence not the customer to prove guilt, no matter how inocent you are CALL BACK LATER besides that way you stand a better chance of getting paid.

as far as I can remember we alwas used to say they were wider than the old logic by about 4mm. go to your local tip theres bound to be one there for measurement.

P.S. to be honest I find these sort of prats are few and thankfully far between and most real degree standard engineers are usually keen to learn, pass on technical points and discuss shop with even the oily rags like us

wma seal is ……well…….sealed. it needs to fit tightly on to the shaft to creat a watertight fit. the rotating seal is inside the metal part.
as for other types of seal (oil seal type) vasaline or better still zanussi seal lub,Ill look up the number if you want.wilf

are you sure that door lock is ok worth a change just in case switch contact is not making but interlock is!

when I work on these I take a sheet of A4 and as I take off the screws I put them on it and put a ring around them marking where they come from. you can get into a real mess once you ve put the wrong one in the wrong hole.

p.s. the front duct fixings are always broken and I hold this together by cutting a couple of notches and using cable ties!

Ive had this, seems to be no reason for it. changed interlock, catch even door, filed bits off back of catch final straw found a second hand lock. no call back thank god
c**p machines always cause more problems for less profit plus they are usually in c**p houseswilf
