Re: Electrolux ESi 602 keeps filling up

…because the repair shop from whom I intended to purchase the part said that the flood protection rarely works and you will not therefore be at a disadvantage by fitting a generic item. They also said that the correct part would take a fortnight to arrive and we had a dinner party the next day. I will go and order the correct part as the consensus seems that this is a good idea.

    Thanks agaim

    Re: Subscribers Database

Here we are Friday lunch, my thanks to the 7 subscribers who responded to the email request, your details are now on the database.
As for the rest of you, apart from Admin, I have added the details we had so if you have changed email accounts since you supplied any info to us, we, sadly will be out of date with you. Over the last two years some of you have filled out MFI, Network-Dasa and other forms asking for details about your businesses, all this data is available to us as we were in the forefront of organising those work offers, at the time.

However, I have also managed to update Trading names, address, postcodes, the postcodes you cover for our records. There are a few gaps and I will now pm individuals to see if you will fill in the gaps, there is no need for me to send out another FORM!

You might ask WHY we want the info, well its not rocket science to work out the evolution of UKW, but I’m (and Admin) not quite in position to tell you, yet.
One of the benefits of being a subscriber is that you will get the opportunity 1st, so please keep this in this forum, be patient, we are plotting and all subscribers will benefit.

Do try to get to Sibson in September, you won’t regret it.

Isn’t it refreshing whilst we are bombarded with political correctness from the mouths of all our politicians for the next few weeks, a guy from thousands of miles away hits every nail on the head.

Well done sir, thanks for the post!

    Re: bosch tub repair

    Hi

dependant on where and how big the holes are you might try to weld the peices back on using a gas soldering iron which will melt the plastic to rebond bearing in mind that this would only be a temp repair as the tank is a structural part and will have to take a lot of flexing.other than that new tank.

Re: Whirlpool Oven Inner Door Glass

Thanks for the quick reply eastlmark – I have given every model/make number I can find & don’t know what else to supply to help

When you say new inner door assembly would that mean I would have to use the existing front glass panel & adhere it to the new?

It looks like the inner door glass is adhered to the inner metal frame then the handle is bolted to the frame then the outer glass is adhered to the frame to complete the door (does this help anymore)

Re: Bosch not taking in enough water

    Hi Martin,

I haven’t put it all back together yet – was just concerned a bit about the amount of crud that came out and didn’t want to put it all back before checking on the forum.

I’ll put it back together now and give it a go.

I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the advice/help so far 🙂

Re: Bosch not taking in enough water

    Hi Folks,

bottom of machine now off and black hose cleaned out.

There was not a lot of crud – I would have expected more if it had been blocked up. When I push the coax through it ends up in the bottom of the dishwater where the removable filter is to catch larger pieces of food…etc. This was also clear.

I would have expected a lot of crud if the hose was blocked – do you think the machine will now work?

Is there anything else I could be looking at now that the bottom is off?

I spotted the float device on the bottom of the machine and now see how this cuts off water supply.

Another observation is where you add in salt. Looking at this container from under the machine, one side of it contains brown looking water – could this be a symptom of the problem. There is an open hose coming from this – looks like it may be an overflow straight into the base.

    Thanks
