It’s £59.50 INC VAT. We do not resolder this heater relay back up as it’s seen as a temporary repair :duck:

Re: AEG Error MSG C3 on model oko_favorit 50700

just a quick question and forgive my little expertise, the tray inside seems empty, so do I need to take machine apart to get to this or just look underneath or from the back?
When I plug machine in, the pump turns on. If I select a program, it starts for a few seconds and then switches back to error message.
    Thanks again

Thanks for for the info and will give it a try. The pump seems to be working constantly while plugged in, so hopefully its just the water in the tray. will let you know. Most kind.

Re: New World Series II gas cooker – door seals?

And lookng further into the service manual, I’ve found that the door seal I need is Part No 162461900, G C No 021 588.

    Obsolete, probably?

I had rather hoped that someone would say I could march into a supplier’s and ask for three metres of Type 42 ….. !

    Silly, of me, I know.

Maybe I should just have followed my first instinct, which was to take a short length of the disintegrating rubber into a spares shop and say; “Hey, ya got any of THIS?!”.

It sounds like the controller is in ‘lock out’ mode.

If an error occurs (eg Flood sensor activated) the controller ‘locks out’ to prevent further operation. Normally you’d need an engineer to repair the fault and reset the controller.

There are instructions to reset the controller here and a few tips on LSI61 dishwasher repair:

OK, the GC Appliance No is 11.645.26 (White).

Looking at the manuals (yes, I’m that sad – I have the original manuals from ….. er, 1987, it says!), these ovens used to be described as ‘slide under’, rather than built under.

    Thanks for your replies guys.
Sorry I forgot to mention it was a 90cm Smeg Dual Fuel.
I’m surprised to find SMEG so unreliable, and their customer service very poor.

I’m a competent DIY’er, but do I need a professional to handle such a job?

Also, Could I buy the elements from this site?

    Thanks

    Re: Sven oven

the fault then will be the potentiometer that is within the hob unit that is connected by an umbilicle lead to the oven assembly.

the hob will have to come out to effect the repair and hopefully the installer has fitted it with a cooker hose(makes life a lot easier) 🙁

once the hob is out remove 2 screws on each side ond the glass top will come off.

once inside the potentiometer is in a case in the center front of the hob and the cover is secured by 2 phillips on the base of the hob,you will need to unsolder the old one one solder the new one ( only 3 wires though ).

re assemble and there you go.

give me a call for the potentiometer 07961365484

Re: Iceline Frost free not frost free !!!

I very much doubt that there will be a diagram for this appliance as there is really only a PCB,fan, heater, overload, defrost sensor and the compressor that is replaceable and any engineer that knows refrigeration shouldnt need a wiring diagram for this model as the pcb isnt repairable by an unspecialised company.

    Re: worldco / Teba

I personally think for the cost of the product it was a good unit, yes there was niggly faults but at least the parts was standard through out the range basicly.

Yes there was problems with spares but dont all manufactures have the same problem at some points.and at least ifit did break down the cost of parts didnt write off the appliance unlike several manufacturers.

Most of the problems came from customers wanting a smeg/bosch quality cooker for the cost of £150,It does come down to you get what you pay for and dont have massive over expectations.

I am sad to see the product go but will continue to hold stock of parts and service the product that is still out there.

    hi,

You will need to post model number and serial number to find more help.

The system engineer will not need a diagram, otherwise he ain’t a system engineer, so is it a wiring Diagram you are after?
