As far as I can tell the “cheaper” models are made in Poland, that is the type with the sealed tank which I suspect what our J Lewis mate was implying whilst the more expensive older type tank in s/steel Miele come from a “stronger than before” Germany. According to j lewis online they do not do the models you list in anycase
I suggest, bearing in mind the expense of your quest, that you check with Miele themselves to make sure you get what you want since you are laying out a fair amount of spons. Just a point, take note of the programme lengths because from memory a lot programmes take serious amounts of time to complete so you might want to check that too I`m sure one programme takes 4 hours probably the 40 – 60 eco programme ( always a long one that no matter what make) but you`ll have to check.
From Currys online: wca030 £749 has cap dosing perhaps you do not want that as does wwd320 and the wwd020 (£949 ). The wwd660 is wifi enabled and has the twin dos system which I would stay clear of as that will be a blockage failure just waiting in the wings.
No info as to whether from Poland or a “stronger than before” Germany was listed so I do not know.

Not too convinced you have done much proper research yourself hence make a llist of exactly what you want and do not want and write by pen and paper to Miele since phone call info means nothing and emails I never get much feed back from companies. If they do not contact you back walk away and spend your spons elsewhere.
Personally I do not like Miele and and even more I dislike Siemens – read the right history book and you`ll see why! For 640 odd quid that`ll buy you a British made Ebac with 7 year parts and labour- research those too – some models are hot water and cold fill if that is what you want now that you know it exists.

Well that is good news. It goes without saying that given the pattern of failure I would trust this dishwasher as much as Putin

Agree, as far as dishwashers go which is not saying much, The Beko or a beko version the simplist the better is the way to go.
“Indeed Andy to be fair my last one lasted 6 years before the heat pump gave way and it just wasn’t worth the hassle and cost of the part , wish i did bother now as at least it didnt leak !” To give you some context the original SMV series from the 1990s would last 25 years without much grief. The SGS series that came after that was less reliable, The SMV AND SMS stuff was /is dreadful….so it spirals down towards the ground like German cars: full of classy gismos that make a car unreliable and expensive to fix, do not get me started on electric cars – complete waste of money!.

Well it sounds like the distrubutor is working!! So you might want to check the first suggestion as the blockage could be nearer the sump in the tube part. I presume you have had the middle basket wash blade off – where the screw hold that wash blade on to the horizontal conveyo rand the basket out. Note that basket where it pushes into the tube hub should lock the basket in so the water shoots to the wash blade rather than the force of the water pushing the basket slightly forward if the hub is worn and not gripping properly..

The latter idea. Although it will take time and of course money but it will be cheaper than a new machine by a massive margin!!
Not pre-empta disaster but these are the part numbers and prices of a typical 8 year old plus failure point when the either the bearings fail or the spider support cracks due to rotting since the machine has never been descaled / desludged
All the tank unit is is a container for a s/steel drum, drum support ( known as a spider ) and the drum bearings as major expensive parts. The drum and spider comes as one unit part 00770734 @ £178.64, the rear plastic tank half with prefitted bearings part 00710176 @ £192.94 ( think the tank seal is included with a rear half tank if not that part is £14.64 part 00647912 ) If/when any of that little lot goes South, which it could well do, you`ll know what to do at those prices and call it a day and I suggest you then buy a new machine.

Where that pipe fits the dispenser jet nozzle there will be a blockage – so not in the hose itself. It will be a lime blockage. Several ways to cure: you can remove the hose from the valve end put you gob to that hose and blow through it, if with difficulty that proves the point!! You can pour very carefully some Kilrock kettle descaler into the hose and leave for 10 mins just be mega careful not to let go of the pipe otherwise you can get the hose flicking kilkroick everywhere including over you so not really recommended. OR better still, remove hose off dispenser jet and gently poke a thinish screwdriver to break the blockage in the jet. OR even better you can replace that nozzle part but that means you have to dismantle the whole soap box unit to fit the new part. the part number is 1325021101 £19 called a conveyor pipe union. This was based on product code 91453412400 which you do not state. Your john Lewis JLWM1413 is a really a Zanussi / electrolux. Look up your version of your product code on either site though I looked it up on the electrolux spares site.

AEG 360 No idea. Your best bet is tell us the pnc / product code number so we can see the break down to advise you. Normally with AEG /Zanussi you attack the machine from the back to replace the belt and not from the front. But would need the proper info to be sure.

NOTE. To save anymore screw ups with changing belts from the front of the machine it is actually easier and less risky to change a belt ( regular occurrance on these ) from the rear of the machine. You really want to change the rear bearing at the same time anyway.

Well, you deserve a reply as much as everyone else and my advise is to scrap it. If it was the drum it was sealed so not sure what you really mean or if it was that pesky front weight trying to escape it will come loose again.Hoovers are not a glowing success at the best of times never mind something stuck in the garden over a Leeds Winter where the inlet valve has pobably cracked if not the pump housing too due to ice. Buy a new machine instead.

induction cooking = horrible things and certainly horribly expensive when they fail as they do. Sadly gas is being fazed out due to the actions of the green lobby mob because that was responsive, simple, and as far as the hobs go very reliable = useful = we can`t have that; also due to playing the inflated health issue card which has never been proved 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} – I would not have been surprised in the least that the test was done by frying split chilli peppers so everyone coughed = must be gas cooking that caused it = must therefore be banned.

Two things to consider. 1) the grey tube which goes from the sump right to the top of the tank where the top “plastic thingy is” ( spinning jet ) that tube might be blocked up towards the top hence no water to spray on cultery. The only way to be sure is to remove it from the machine and blow through it using your fingers to block the middle basket water jet hub or, 2) more likely so,heaven help you, the alternating water distrubutor has failed and so it is spraying water soley to the bottom wash blade and not to the middle basket and so also to the spinning jet that does the cultery bsk at the very top. From what you say it looks more likely to be point 2. and that is depressing because that is a major dismantle of the machine and I would advise you not to try it yourself because these Bosch machines are a bastard to work on for engineers never mind the public – the whole series was designed over 10 cans of special brew!!. The way to tell is get a permanent marker pen and mark with a dot one end of the cups and small plate middle basket and leave that w/.blade pointing towards you i.e. the door, you then start up the machine without anything in the machine and let the machine run foir 10 minutes and listen to the machine: it should make a washing noise from the bottom bsk wash blade, the wash noise subsides in pitch as it switches to wash the middle and also send water up to the cutlery one too then the distrubutor disc relvolves back to send water to the bottom wash arm. If it is goosed the water is only going to the bottom wash blade so that marked middle wash blade will not have moved hence the indicating marked dot! If the dotted wash blade has barely moved and you heard no changeable wash noise I would say there is something wrong with the distrubutor motor / revloving disc or less likely a pcb problem.
Go to bosch spares uk site yourself. The tube part number is 11003118 £20.48. The water distrubutor unit is part 00644996 £53.50

well if that is the first time you`ve cleaned the inside of the machine out after 8 years I`m not at all surprised. Proves one thing that Dr Beckman does work!!
