    That’s a 1998 model – uses a VA20 timer with separate module.
    What’s the fault?

Door interlock or drier element shorting to earth. Unplug the drier element and try the machine again.

Is there a deal being brewing here ❓

Just maybe they can get rid of individual agents knowing they can get coverage via JTM with this less admin costs of dealing with seperate engineers and lower rates paid by jtm they make savings here 💡

Only time will tell, will have to see if jobs increase from jtm.

    Steven

Lots of references to JTM there………don’t they own / operate 0800Repair? Look at this link posted in the 0800 thread:- http://www.theadvertiserseries.co.uk/bu … _turnover/

Are they looking after their own at the expense of us indies? It may be coincedence; it may be completely unconnected; but it may explain some goings – on. Dates line up; they have a huge rise in business in a quiet period; agents get sacked at the same time 0800 boast huge expansion; more franchises being punted, could 0800 have been set up to redirect the business and corner the market…………. 😕 I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but from the outside looking in, it just seems too coincidental.

Shorting drier element for sure. If the drier is little used the elements seem to fail quicker (maybe they get damp and can’t dry out in the chamber). Unplug the element first to clarify – but take an element with you; it doesn’t matter if you don’t need it, you are sure to use it in another machine very soon. It appears that this is becoming a very common problem with late Lux washer driers. 🙁

    High quality stuff…… :rolls:

Condenser solenoid works – apart from the PCB running the solenoid valve, what device senses condenser water intake? I’ve scoured TDS tech and I can’t find anything. 😕

The whole thing is just a farce and needs a massive overhaul that reflects the industry – what they have always been doing is supporting the recycling industry at the cost of the reuse community.

On Sky news today, Nick Clegg is asking for representations from businesses about pointless beaurocratic interference and how these laws can be changed or repealed to help the business community. The T11 certainly falls into that category…….maybe someone is listening…… 😉
