Re: WJD1357 Drain Pump removal query

If the impeller is loose or falling off you will need a new pump. E20 is a “no drain or drain time – out” fault. A new one should be easily available from Shop @ in the left menu column. Or click the ‘Find a spare part’ banner below.

Yeah, I seem to remember something about that mod…..IIRC it was to tie the safety drain hose in a ‘U’ shape – didn’t work on the last machine I did. It would help if you could see for sure what was blocked.
Anyone else solved this problem? I’m intrigued why it happens and a definitive fix would be appreciated.

Thanks again for the input, Chris.

    Cheers,

    Re: Hoover HNL7126 dead.

Can anyone tell me if the push button PCB behind the fascia of a Hoover HNL7166 – 80 (3100197607300182) is the same as the one fitted to the HNL7126 mentioned above? It looks identical……. 😕

    Any ideas??

    Thanks,

    Steve.

Do you mean the plastic airbox that fits on top of the softener? If so, part number from Connect:- 5031689840590.

All seems OK there; I have had this push button board pop out of its mounting clips before so I checked that. Start button clicks; seems alright…… 😕

Almost certainly the water metering matrix and sump feed pipe under the left side panel. The sump pipe will probably be clogged with gunge and this slows the water into the machine. Backing up of this water will cause the on / off filling situation. Remove all the parts of the float chamber and sump pipe, clean out and refit.

It’s at the top on the inside; fold back the tabs and lift off the metal cover.
