Funnily enough, that’s almost exactly what I said to them on the phone. It was at that point they said they ‘didn’t like my attitude’.

Not worth pursuing for the small amount it was (£26), but annoying just the same.

Yes, they’ve (slightly) changed their name.

Just trying to sort my own FB pages and have noticed that only the WTA FB link is working out of the three above.

Also, how am I fixed for linking to Whitegoods articles from my own FB page as filler/info?

    Re: golocal reactive

One of the companies I work alongside in Nottingham are being asked to do work for these people.
Slightly different name (Go Local Repairs Ltd), but It’s the same M.O. Taking credit card charges up front off the customer etc.

I’ve warned them, but that’s all I can do.

    Re: Indesit C00199670 Terminal block

Thanks Martin, I don’t have the model to hand, but looked at a current model on the shop floor yesterday (Indesit FID20) and that’s terminal block is the same part number.

So it seems a cock up at Indesit somewhere, but that doesn’t help me or my customer.
None of the online store have it either, they just refer to Indesit for stock.

Edit: I found a usable replacement now C00230139, thanks for taking the time to reply.

Re: What’s the most stupid things customers say?

Just had one, customer phoned the other night to ask for a call.

As the location was near an already planned call I booked her in for “between 10am and 2pm”. I explained several times that I couldn’t give a specific time and she was Ok with this (in the end).

Gets a call next morning at 10:50am, “Sorry I can’t wait any longer as I’m at work until 1pm”

    Absolute morons! 🙁

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

Once when I was working for someone else a few years back, I had a guy complaining to me on the phone who then asked me to wait a sec whilst he sorted the tape recorder so he could play it back to his mum who was a magistrate.
I waited patiently till he sorted it (took a couple of minutes) then asked him if he was ready, then told him I had nothing to say and hung up 🙂
    He never called back…

Some of them just open the company van and put them in the back.
(They have a spare key obviously).

    Might be an option?

Touch Local did the same sort of thing as well.
I had three years of an unpaid website off them, never asked for it, never paid for it 🙂
They had a re-directed number on the site as well, was all very strange.
