If it gets warm but you get no water I’m afraid its got no gas. Dead in the water. Claim under the parts warranty.

Removing the ice-maker will cause the appliance to throw an error. If not straight away it will at power up or in case of power cut.

Depending on the age of the appliance the fault may actually be with the the freezer. If the freezer is unable to reach the required temp the fridge will be shut down and all efforts thrown into the freezer. You will need either a Liebherr or a Miele engineer as the appliance is manufactured by Liebherr.

Also the fault would only display in event of engineer intervention or a power cut. Nothing to do with power outage.

Da32-00006u used to be part number. Press and hold top left and middle right buttons to bypass and get up and running. The sensor does need replacing though.

Once machine is full it will be expecting motor action. If this does not happen it will shut down and drain. Some of these have very tight wiring at the front and the motors become unplugged.

Humming is most likely drain pump rather than fill. Every cycle will drain for a min or 2 before filling begins. Does it have any water in the bottom? Did you remove the blank off from your sink waste?

Filter at rear of heater unit tends to block on these. Results in low flow past the heater. Usually throws an error due to over heating.

Need to be checking that the heaters actually come on to defrost the evaporators. If the unit does not defrost itself as it should it will not switch back on. Unplug and restart it will be ok for one cycle then shut off again. PCbs do not fail often. Sensors and thermal fuses are common. Heaters also known to fail. Have never seen a compressor fail on one of these.

Assuming your capillary goes into the fridge this item will be compatible. Or fit a vt9 or k59. But you will need to know your machines wiring for this

Re: Zanussi FJDR bearing change – removing pulley

You have stripped the machine why not just replace the bearings. If they fail quickly you can consider replacing the shaft and bearings next time or scrap it. Only gonna cost a tenner and some time. Make sure to glue the seal into the tub and grease the sealing lip. Also replace the tub seal between two half a or silicon works well to ensure a good seal

Could be the PCb is supplying more than the 12 volts required to operate the relay. Or these relays aren’t man enough for the job they do…..

I’d say as above that lack of ventilation is causing excess steam to condense in places other than the condenser. Test it in an open gap with plenty of ventilation.
