ParticipantRe: Module/Timer repairers not playing fair?
Just in case anyone doesn`t know , this is the thread that is being referred to http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … 0&postdays
I think Del makes a very good point when he says we should be in a position to negotiate a discount on what seem to be retail prices if they are available to the general public.

ParticipantRe: brother microwave capacitor
Fairly sure the AWI capacitor doesn`t have the internal diode and from memory its not an exact fit in the original bracket. I used to order these direct from Brother in Manchester (about 10 years ago). Do they still exist ❓

Just received a couple of these and tiny grey plastic pointers are on them.
May have just been unfortunate with yours Phil. Ordered from Connect BTW.Bryan

ParticipantRe: spares from UKW
Does anyone else feel slightly annoyed by this one http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … 0&postdays
He`s probably got the original engineer to give him a free estimate , watched every move he made , then using the diagnosis decides he`ll try and save £30.
At the end he doesn`t really say thanks but he`s celebrating his engineerless £30 saving.
Don`t mean to be nasty and I know free estimates are another issue but can`t really wish this guy good luck.Bryan

Elec wrote:The food has been cooking quicker than it should. The temperature does not feel too hot.
The thermostat controls the oven temperature so from what you say it would appear to be functioning correctly.
Not really possible for food to cook quicker than normal without increase in oven temperature.
Anyway I would suggest you have fan element replaced and take it from there.
If you post the full model number E-NR B1320……..(followed by some more letters and numbers) then I`m sure the correct element can be supplied or you could check repairs@ and have the complete job carried out and checked by a UKW engineer. :tup:Power off if you decide to have a go yourself :zap:

ParticipantRe: Neff B1320 Oven
Yes almost certainly faulty fan oven element but be careful as you may also have a faulty themostat 🙁
When you say oven heating too quickly , do you mean burning the food and generally much hotter than you expect when you open oven door ❓Bryan

ParticipantRe: Dead Neff oven B1920W0GB/02. Need parts and advice!
Hi Adam
Yes you almost certainly have a faulty fan oven element.
The clock/digital display is a complete unit and would be an expensive part (£90 approx.) to replace. As the oven has been functioning ok with the faulty clock this should not be a problem other than not having timer settings facility.
The element or an equivalent should be available via this website or you could check repairs@ for a UKW engineer in your area.Power off if you decide to investigate further :zap:

ParticipantRe: temerature control/fan fault
Slightly strange description but the fan motor assembly is a common fault on these ovens and when the motor is not functioning properly you will get oven temperature problems.
For safety reasons please do not operate oven with back plate removed. If you decide to investigate further then power off please :zap:

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIE137S
Thanks for that Dave , at £3 odd I can just about afford to order one and take it with me. 🙂 Do these go faulty regularly ❓

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFF 2001 not pumping out properly
You do indeed appear to have a fault due to water draining slowly. You are doing the right things and it would certainly be worth checking the sink spiggot for partial blockage. Other than that it`s probably a partial blockage (like a sock) in the hose that leads from the drum to the filter.
Perhaps check filter again paying particular attention to this area.
Power off of course :zap:Bryan

ParticipantRe: tricity element
Assuming you mean Tricity Bendix SIE505 , then it`s the usual one – 3110231002.
