Re: How do you get a big Fridge/Freezer out?

All of the big fridge freezers we do slide out quite easily, providing they have been installed correctly!
I have been to a few houses where they have placed them on a plinth about six inch’s off the ground. :eeek:
At that point I tell them that they must, at their expense, arrange to have the thing stood on the floor, where it’s designed to be. :lesson:

Another thing that gets my goat (sorry Goatboy) is the recent trend to fit integrated dishwashers a foot and a half off the ground.

I would love to introduce my foot to the groin of some of these kitchen designers 😈

Possibly water has leaked on to the base plate. Don’t go any further. Get it looked at. 😀 Follow the link below.

I drove 250 miles yesterday. This could prove a little expensive under this Orwellian system.

I think BSH-man uses his powers of evil, to sense when someone types the word ‘Bosch’ into this forum. He always there like a flash.

I’ve never rated dishwasher tablets much. Powder dissolves so much faster and it’s easier to vary the dosage. 😉
On the times when this problem has arisen, has the appliance heated to dry at the end of the cycle?

It’s a good model and, if in good nick, is worth a new motor.
The end frame changes gave way to just brush change about the time of this appliance entering the market.

The facia has two screws on the underside, once removed you have to prise off the facia from above using a thin screw driver.
    How often does it click?
IIRC the facia module has no relays. :con:
To change the temp setting, you have to hold down the button for a couple of seconds and not stab at it with your finger. It then reverts back to the current temp until the target temp is attained.

Re: BOSCH WFB 2004 BEARING REPLACEMENT

It’s a seven year old, bottom of the range washer. If you can get bearings for £25 and have the inclination then it may be a viable repair.
But I would think long and hard about spending a lot of money on this appliance at this age. :duck:
If you do go ahead then I’m sure you will get good advice from the guys on this forum.

Is replacing it a straightforward job for a mechanically competent person (which I am) or do I need special tools etc? Is it a single item or replaced in a set with other components? And the next obvious question is: where can I source a replacement?!

What’s the four digit number after FD on the lable? (on the door frame)
