Like I said….It’s our top selling machine, and we have lots covered by our own warranty.
It good to know I might not have to buy new PCB’s for all of them. 🙂
Saying that…..The inner bearing seems to collaspe alot, on the stainless steel tub model! 😉 We have a very, very soft water and over-soaping problem in this area though.
Bearings failed on low spec appliance?
We have had a few fail on this Spanish produced model.
Steer your punters to the safe mid range zone.

I have had this happen only once, about four years ago on a top spec Bosch appliance (the one with the solenoid door lock).
I was the returning engineer, the first engineer had found blown tracks but no other fault and ordered a module.
I was cautious and had a good look before replacing the control module.
To my surprise and found a dead short (not o.c.) on the interlock. 😯
Never had it on the more common type of lock though. :con:BSH-MAN

How deep is the water? Are you sure this is not normal pint or two of water that’s always left?

Our test programs call this part of the cycle the “catastrophe inquiry” 😀

As already said, a lower spray arm malfunction is most common cause.
When the appliance has stopped filling, is the water level normal? If too high make sure the fine mesh filter is clean and porous.
Has the detergent dispenser been replaced recently?
I have had a couple of warped tanks in the passed that have caused this, but they were in the warranty period.
That’s all that springs to mind at this late hour. But if anything else springs I’ll post back.

CF changes the variable defrost (based on door openings) to a timed defrost.

ParticipantRe: Tecnik TKL 9260
It’s made by Sittal in Italy (sp?) but is serviced by BSH.
They have two yellow 0.5m long strips of foam packaging wedged either side of the tub that is often left in place by the fitter. 🙄
Could also be the module at fault.BSH-MAN

ParticipantRe: What’s in a brand?
The double oven range is in the middle of being replaced. It sounds to me like your comparing an older oven type with it’s replacement.
Most Bosch/Neff/Siemens ovens are the same because they are part of the same group like Vauxhall/Opel/GM cars.Circotherm is sales talk for fan cooking. 😉
Your best bet would be to follow the links on the web sites and request brochures. 🙂
