    Re: JLBIFIC02 Integrated Freezer

It’s an Electrolux as they own the AEG brand name. The element need’s checking to see if it’s open circuit and the drain tube and valve are at the back on the outside.

    Re: JLBIFIC02 Integrated Freezer

If the cut-out’s have been replaced assuming they fitted the correct one’s then that really only leave’s the heating element being open circuit or the non-return valve on the drain tube is blocked causing water to back up then form an ice blockage. The circuit board or NTC’s rarely give trouble on this model and if you defrost it and it then work’s it won’t be the fan either.

    Re: zanussi freezer question

If it’s not switching off then it’s defo on it’s way out and I would of thought a DV45 to be older than twenty years but if want another twenty years of trouble free then avoid buying a “frost free” model to replace it!! 😉

If your getting excessive frosting inside the back of the fridge compartment it suggest’s a system fault which is not surprising on that model. Not worth doing anything to it.

I would never have recommended them before, in their market Falcon or Rangemaster are far better products.

They were still good in relation to a lot of the cr*p we service.

    Re: Zanussi Washer/Dryer ZWD1680W – no lights/power

I doub’t the pcb is at fault here It’s more likely detecting a fault and pausing the program . Could be the anologic pressure switch or heater at fault if the motor is defo ok but then how did you check the motor as shining a torch on it won’t tell you anything!. Taking circuit board’s apart and proding about will no doub’t cause you more problem’s call an engineer and save some cash in the long run.

Yes its now supplied as a thermal cut out stat and not a thermal fuse so the kit you describe would be correct.

This is actually a Beko dishwasher so it could be the water counter at fault its located between the valve and the side tank on the left side. They are known for giving filling problems.

Re: Zanussi washer dryer ZWD1680W E22 fault code

I think you will off sorted the E20 fault out by clearing the condenser but I think the error stored now will now be E12 the coil on the valve as you stated if this fails then the clothes would be wet and steamy .

That equate’s to E34 Pressure switch circuit fault. Normally its the anologic pressure switch at fault or pressure hose’s chaffed but can also be a PCB failure.
