The dryer element being low test seem’s to create all kinds of gremlins on this range so I just thought I’d try it. No need to strip down the machine just take the two securing screws out the top of the heater box and the one’s securing the fan (no need to remove the fan at all) and the front duct and you should be able to move the heater box to the left and slightly up enough to get the heater out. no need to replace the gasket.

Maybe you could explain what problem’s you’ve been having ( I know you said high temps but where?) and what repair was done each time and maybe we can assist :con:

It either an overheat stat or to bring on the cooling fan (not sure which on these) but if the warm air fans running it wont be that at fault if its just blowing cold its more likely the fan element

You mean ZWG1120m and yes its one of those Chinese creations. Had one the other day with a blocked pump on a chargable basis which was good so maybe worth a visit to check for that at least.

Had this only the other day!! I suspected the main pcb at fault but it actually turned out to be the dryer element low insulation and instead of giving the ED4 code as normal it had done this instead. Disconnect the element and it should work. Please let me know if it did !!!

Its normally a dry solder joint on the heater relay on the main PCB in the door the fact it worked when you pushed it back could just be a coincidence.

Have you checked the drain hose and the sink spigot (if its connected to one ). If they are clear then it can only be the pump.

It most certainly will of been down to the socket failing ad not the appliance. Contact an electrician.

Re: zanussi zwf1421w beeping and full of water!

If the drain pump’s working then it has to be a blockage normally either in the sump hose {between the tub and pump manifold} or if its connected onto a sink spigot {Nozzle on the sink u bend} the you need to check around that area.

Here’s an idea!!! strip out the compressor, condenser and evaporator and retro fit an absorbtion system on the back. Silence! 😆

Given you mention a clicking noise its sounds like the compressor has seized and its cutting out on its overload device. In a nutshell its not worth repair

The top hinge unfortunately only comes as part of the front outer glass assy and cannot be replaced separately. the part number for the front glass (white) is 5616437005

Its also possible on this model to reverse the connection the wrong way around which results in only half the element working.

Re: John Lewis JLFFW2005 – Fridge not cooling

Either the fan is defective or the defrost element or thermal cut outs have failed. Call back the engineer which I’m assuming would of been Serviceforce as they shouldn’t charge any more labour just cost of parts.
