From memory and no doubt expertcat will correct me if I’m wrong but ANS was a number of ex Expert Appliance Care bods that got together to do the refrigeration work for MFI. Since the demise of MFI there has been little info about them. ❓

The guy on the internet has sent the wrong one, for this model it uses whats known in the trade as a VT9 stat, this has three contacts.

It will be either the motor (£150 approx if you can get one) the electronic module (£125 ish) or a loom problem. As you will be aware Servis UK has gone bankrupt so spares are in short supply.

Unplug appliance, remove from cabinet about 10 inches lift of inspection panel at front centre. Now withdraw front knob assembly and then change over electronic module noting wiring. refit is a direct reverse of above.

I think that we may have missed the boat on this one as they have a 6-8 week lead time unless you pay extra. From memory they are £1.23 in batches up to 250 and it drops to 79p from 250+. There is a charge of about £35 to set up the artwork and since we are outside the lead time we would incure an extra 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for a rush order and they cannot guarantee we would receive the goods. 🙁

Could you please chase up those manufacturers that you wanted inviting and get them to RSVP, two that spring to mind are F-P and Bosch both having been invited but no response – there are others which I will give a dig. I really do need the numbers so that Bryan and Tina can arrange the food.

Quick question – when you say that the oven was switched off do you mean at the mains switch or just the oven. Yes there is a vent at rear/top to disperse any moisture from food.
