Hi we need you to list the serial number of this appliance. It will start 200***** and will be found in the door hole or alternatively on the back. Reason we need this is that there are two different switches fitted to this model dependent on serial.

Being one of the old boys that have been paying into the UKWSF from the start, I have no gripe with the support being given by the team. If you had been here at the start you would have seen how much this forum has grown and evolved. What was never predicted was the number of members and general public that now view the site. Numbers obviously equal slowness – speed equals dosh, so if you feel like giving the IT boys a bung please feel free to do so.

Re: Elica hood venting problem… HELP!!

I have just been down this route with one of our customers. The kitchen fitting company converted the outlet of the extractor from a 6 inch to a 5 inch outlet and then fed the flexible pipe to a 4 inch hole in the brickwork. The result was that the extractor motor burnt out (it being unable to get rid of the heat from the hob below) The final outcome being that the extractor manufacturer refused to replace the motor free of charge and eventually the customer had to take the fitting company to court to force them to cut the correct hole in the wall and secondly pay for the replacement motor.

As before need the model number for the appliance. That looks like the stat number which bares no relationship to the actual stat part number. Also be aware that these models use two different stats depending on what type of gas is used.

This is part of the electrolux group. If you drop the door and look for label on either side or top you will reference to a PNC number. Post that up on this site and Im sure one of us will be able to help.

As I understand it they are only using Rebadged Beko ovens at this time. The remainder of the product range continues as normal.

Before we go any further, does you machine have a digital readout or only led’s on the top control panel. Secondly have you got any of the led’s flashing or is there a fault code in the display area (if fitted)?

Re: Samsung American Fridge Freezer RS21DCS No water dispens

Bob – To reiterate, water passes from the inlet valve thro the water chiller behind the draws in the fridge and up to the dispenser via the bottom of the door. If you take off the joint below the door and then press the water lever this will tell you if water is coming thro from the valve via chiller.

    Re: Samsung RS21DCNS (Silver)

Hi – Before you go any further look at the left hand side panel and take a note of the full model number and serial number (stuck on label) Repost with these details and we should be able to help you out. This appliance is built with a number of different features and it is only the side label that allows us to track them down (the one inside the fridge/freezer does not have all the info needed) Secondly do you need centre tray for the fridge or the freezer? Perhaps you could upload a picture of the damaged item.
    Good Luck – Ian.
