I think the day I stuck a slotted screwdriver through my thumb trying to seperate the top from the bottom was the last straw and the black insert is very hard to get out also. The replacements are slightly different now anyway. Just have to carry 2 different types so any profit is still that, profit in my book. No compaints this end.

what do you mean by “tank” the container in the side panel? This machine doesnt have a pressure chamber as such but if the float/aquastop or the hose leading from that into the sump is blocked or restricted you will find it cannot pass the water through fast enough and backs up, leaking from the top of the float housing which may be running down onto the seals and make them appear they are leaking. TBH I dont mess about cleaning those floats anymore, just fit a new one.497570

tie wraps 😆
this thread reminds me to post the numbers for the correct clips for these:
order Haier number 0120100437 these are the big clips for the heater and 012G1040028 these are the small clips for the circ pump hoses.
order these from electrue and they are far cheaper than from Indesit.
Of course you will need the tool to fit them……eastlmark

ModeratorRe: ISE 5. Belt adrift.
had the same today, motor had moved so far back it was on the floor!…..sadly breaking the rear motor mount on the tub as it did so 😥 Screws were still in tight, seems the expansion method is not good enough.

Moderatorseem to think there is a heater toc manual switch but the usual fault is wires breaking in the door loom, used to do a repair kit for it not sure if still available.
