    Re: Magnetic Motors

pretty sure those big circ pump motors have some kind of circuit board within them with some Diodes on (IIRC) the small drain pumps do not have these so maybe it is something to do with that?

Will be just new hinges required, unfortunatly 2 different versions of this:
    76×3706 up to 3/4/2001
    76×6813 after 3/4/2001.

Re: Door refusing to stay closed on Tecnik TKD795 dishwasher

more likely the hinges are worn or the hinge pins that support the door are bent, often a result of the door springs breaking and the door dropping down heavily. Pins can usually be bent back straight but door neds to be removed to do so which involves removing the springs first- not a DIY job. IMO.
Door latch is cheap option so may be worth a try, dont hold out much hope though unless its visibly damaged or loose.

Vistaprint are notorious for spamming. Surely no one ever manages to order any of their “free” printing do they?

    Re: Smeg DWI612C program probs.

Assuming the door switch hasnt rolled over or is faulty. (occasionally water can get through the slot in the door and get into the door microswitch causing similar problems. Also check the pressure/float switch in the base, water can run down the wires and burn out the connectors, again causing mysterious progrmme faults. Other thant the good old soap dispenser coil fault then I am affraid it will be the pcb.

    Re: Bosch SRS43C12 pathetic spray

Turns out it was a piece of clear wrpping paper of some sort stuck in the impellor. Even better i fished it out using long nose pliers once the grey plastic surround of the sump was removed. Now back to full pressure!
Thanks for all your help and suggestions. Good luck with your Bob!
