If you are sure that both black compressors are running, then I am affraid you have a serious problem. Either the compressor for the freezer has failed or the system has been punctured, it does happen. A 10 year old fridge freezer would probalby not be worth repairing. Double check though that the freezer comp is running.

Good chance that its only the thermostat faulty, pretty simple and cheap repair if so.

8996454308306 is the part number £42 odd.

it sends a signal back to the timer when it has selected the correct compartment, hence the error code if it doesnt work.

was there a large build up of ice behind that rear panel? If there is this can disturb the airflow and indicates a defrost problem. The fan does not always run, especialy after powering up and may even be controled by a door switch. If there is a build up of ice, defrost completely and then try again but problem may re-appear in a few weeks.

Re: Beko CGA9756FF fridge freezer – freezer too cold

Thermistors in refrigeration are a comon failure and given their relative low cost are always worth a try. Often though it is the control pcb at fault. Must admit to not being at all familliar with Beko models though.
The Black one you mention may be a thermal fuse incase the defrost heaters stay on too long and there may be other ones hidden in the insulation and often non replaceable. Take care back there though as mains voltage and melting ice are not a nice combination so unplug first.
