Re: LGH AON At It Again 😕

Alex, I have got AIG on stop due to unpaids MFI jobs from March. They rejected them a month after sending due to no FSR numbers, which were clearly printed on the invoices.

No XLS form is ever simple, remember there are guys out there in this trade who cannot even email. Make the forms more user friendly then maybe we will get a better response.
    Mark.

Re: Bosch SGS45E02GB dishwasher/Cleaning brushes in sink

What it all comes down to Tony (the Tony Brown?) is that the initial installation is flawed in that water was allowed to run back into the dishwasher in the first place. The flap valve in the dishwasher is really only there to stop the last of the water being discharged from flowing back into the sump. Had it been correctly plumbed in, then the backflow from the sink should never have occurred.
I had this with a washing machine once and we could never get rid of either the smell or the paint stains.

Re: Belling IDW 603 E1 code

The problem is that Belling do not make that dishwasher and I am not sure who does. E1 often indicates a no fill problem, check the water supply is on and the hose is not kinked, other than that its engineer time.

Be careful there as they supplied new selector switch/ comms with new wiring looms that involved completely re -wiring the cooker differently to how it was before. I have the ‘new’ wiring diagram which I can fax you if you pm me a number but it will be different if it still has the original comm.
If it is the comm switch you need, order 5031680934731 from connect and you get a complete loom and wiring diagram with it.
    hope this helps.

    Re: miele dishwasher problem

Did one similar on Sat, there was not enough pressure to operate the high pressure-pressure switch hence no heat. Stripped down the circ pump and found the blades of the impellor completely clogged with debris that was awkward to clean out. never seen anything like it before and one to watch out for in the future.

I should imagine one is the old square shape and the other is…well…teardrop shaped. Enough to make you cry isnt it.

Beware, some of these, you never know, may be mods of the future! Then we will have to go back and edit this thread as we did with Gegsy 😆

Its probably a Brandt made one such as a DF53, although that is freestanding, I asume yours is a integrated. Some parts are the same such as the heater and drain pump etc.

Pretty sure you dont need to be ‘qualified’ to do pat testing, after all we do it dont we?
You would need a PAT tester though as the earth bond needs to tested at 25 amps to check that maybe only one strand of earth wire is not forming your earth which should of course ‘blow’ like a fuse under high test currents. Did a Robin day course many years ago, not sure if they still offer this or not.

    Re: Van Livery

Some of you may have noticed I lost one of my knobs, but this has since been rectified as i found it still on the backing paper in the bin! Take care when applying, esp the 3 appliance logo as the lines are very thin and if you dont get it right first time, there is no going back.
Chris, the Blue is a very light Azure type, which may contrast nicely on a blue van.
