Take the lid off. undo the single screw on top of the heater duct and the one ont the front panel, the ‘hot air inlet’ can be lifted up and out of the way. fit the seal as above then re fit the air intake. and the jetsystem hose if fitted. not easy but not that tricky either.

Re: hotpoint mistral plus frost free

You cannot change the temp of the freezer, only the fridge. But to keep the fridge temp low, the freezer also has to work hard so I would increase your fridge temp to 4 or 5 and the freezer temp should adjust accordingly.

Ahh… 😳 I just read again, your freezer is at +22 is that right? Is the Freezer not cold at all then? (or is it just the display that is wrong?) if so you do have a problem, and its engineer time.

Assuming of course that the vents are clear you may be right. pretty simple machine so not a great deal can go wrong. These machines need a wide vent outlet, if a Euro style vent hose has been squeezed on it may cause a problem.

Most of their Bosch stuff never comes packaged as it does from BSH. Had some horseshoe oven elements ordered as gen, no wrapping, no part number label ,same with the pumps. Not sure how they get away with that one.

    Re: Thank you

You need a specialist tester for that, not realy worth the investment for a one off test.
