having spent too long last week on two, 25 year old belling format (3 re calls on one of them and the other was a “by the way, can you put a new bulb in the console light while you are here”, nothing winds me up more than those fluerescent tubes, I have in some cases replaced everything and they still flicker, dont come on or whatever. Anyway, back to the point, I seem to be spending too much time on old stuff that should be scrapped and its costing me each time a screw head strips or the clock buttons break just because I looked at it, and the obsolete parts etc, not to mention the recalls.

if its the original hard plastic sump assembly, change it for the later type, 1604035, comes with a pressure stat too. Other than that a stalling pump?

The mushroom in question is on the inside of the dishwasher, just next to the lower spray arm support. Think only the very early ones need modding by now.
Just another point of coding these modules, the ones with selector knobs I mean, the coding leaflet lists position 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. These refer to the knob posiiton as shown in the leaflet not those marked on the knob or facia. The knob actually turns past the numbered programmes. so dont get caught out, might end up with some odd programmes in the wrong places.Re: New Neff w/m motor won’t work?

Probably just blocked, the pump is right at the front under the door and can be accessed without even pulling the machine out. Usually get error codes or flashing lights to indicate problem. See the error codes thread here.
