Whatever you do, just ensure it is disconnected. I think with that model the elements can be removed from inside and tested. You will need a megger to carry this out.

David, almost certainly your fan elements are blown and maybe this has taken out another component too. If you remove the inner back panel of the oven (2 large silver screws) you can inspect the elements and they may be obviously blown or they may appear ok but have blown anyway. Do not touch them without switching off at the mains first
Its a complex beast this one and could I suggest you use our repairs@ service: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/search/fi … ineer.html to find a service engineer if you dont feel able to do it yourself.

    Re: differring page views

This is Norton internet security 2005(standard not pro) that someone gave me for xmas and it hasnt got any of the features Dave mentioned. The only way to view correctly is to turn it off altogether. I have 2004 Pro on another pc at home and this does have those features but, oddly, displayed correctly anyway.
I really hate having my laptop taken over like this, somehow pop ups and spam are prefferable. 🙁

    Re: WHIRLPOOL ADP 5966

More than likely you have the same problem again. If so the board needs inspecting to see if it is blown and where and the wiring traced to find the possible suspect that may have casued the problem in the first place (Heater, ntc etc). You really need a wiring diagram to check this.
If you do try it yourself make sure it is unplugged and note all the plugs position on the module as it is possible to re fit them in the wrong places.

    Re: Bosch SGS0922GB/06 Problem

Could always suggest not opening the door in the first place.

If you are opening it when the water is hot, on start up it may bubble up to a high level tripping the anti flood hence the pump out. Would have thought it would re set after that though. Other than that, could be a tricky one to solve.

Starvin, the doors do not come as one piece, just all the parts of it so you need to tell which parts you need ie hinges, outer glass, handle etc.

Re: Error code E1 on Hoover new wave plus 5 auto washer

E1 is just a time out for either filling or draining. Check the water is draining out at a good rate (sometimes a coin makes its way right into the drain hose and acts like a flap valve there) and that it is filling fast enough too. (dont lower that pressure too much) you seemed to have covered most of the easier things this could be. The conditioner compartment has its own valve coil so this could also be the problem.
I am presuming this is the old Hoover New wave, need your model number for any further help.

Before touching anything, pull the plug.
