    Re: MAAC Ltd

Contacted by them the other day, said we would only attend if payment by bacs is made upfront for the service fee and then to invoice for the part, and they paid straight away and our asking price at that. Will update after parts fitted and invoiced.

“Quite dangerous” removing the door seal band yet no mention of unplugging the machine first. No time to watch the rest yet but cannot wait.

Re: Bosch, Siemens heat pump style dishwashers base leaks

Thanks for the responses, glad its not just my bad luck then, it gets you down a bit after the 4th one in a day and not much job satisfaction either and the probability of a recall does us no favors either.
Cannot understand why dishwasher manufacturers don’t cotton on the fact that these faults must cost so much in service alone, as well as peeing customers off against their brand. answer is obvious, open the bases up like they are on their washing machines- what’s the difference? Why do dishwashers have to collect every little drop of leaked water?

    Re: Izettle chip and pin

these App chip and pin solutions charge way over the odds for a debit card transaction, which, in my experience anyway, is by far the most popular form of card payment. For that reason, a proper merchant account and stand alone mobile machine has to be better. Its £2.50 less per £100 debit card transaction.

    Re: Smeg SE375MFX5 fan motor

if its before 2005 then you need
    795210620 & 039290137 & 902610342

from 11/2005 its 795210620 of which there is only one left, once that is gone you will need 795210954
sorry for such a complex answer.

on a similar subject, in the 80’s we found a half eaten, mouldy baggette/sandwich inside a new, just unboxed Candy turbomatic.

ah, this one (the original post of this thread) is the air to air condenser washer drier sold as an eco sound machine as it uses no water when drying…..shame it will be in landfill after 2 years then.

They used to be supplied with vt9 thermostats kits and were very useful, always kept hold of un used ones. Not seen them around for years, try your luck on ebay maybe.
