    stuck re gen valve in rh side panel, can remove and clean but best to fit new. 5918860 is the part number.

    not true, possibly one of the easiest appliance to work on you will ever find.
    F1 is a leak into base, would suspect first the fill hose has split to one of the draws, if so a new softner will be required as well. Other leak faults can be jammed draw lids or even just over dosing on detergent. Post the model and one of us will email you a service manual.

    not sure what one it is but there are 2 listed
    357 05 62-01/1 is described as a “stirrup thermostat” set
    357 05 60-05/6 is described as “temperature regulator”.

    I know the feeling, had to break away a bit of stuck on polystyrene to access the module on this one:

    I have had several with the same problem, you need a clamp meter to measure the current drawn and chances are it will be only around 3-4 amps while heating, it should be considerably more.
    If this is the problem then it will be the power module behind the facia, take it out and out of its case and with any luck one of the heater relays will have a obvious dry solder joint on it. If not then it may be the relay contacts themselves, new board around £180 so probably BER if that is the case, worth looking at as I have had 3 with dry joints-dab of the iron and away they go.

    A42 is the model, all I have is a parts manual but would not know which parts you need.

    checked drain pumps not jammed? thats normally the first thing energised at start up.
