    Cheers Bob.

wrong info I am affraid, these o rings are much thinner section. To tell the truth, the o rings will not be the cause of the leak, it will be the seal within the alternating valve itself that is leaking, I have always re used the old rings and never had a recall, there are 3 of them in parallel after all!

the part number is 750212244 if you really feel the need to change.

but you have also removed your obligation for offerring any warranty on the part, make sure the customer knows it will be her job to handle returns, credits refunds etc should there be a problem.

Still worth trying if all else fails. 🙂

    Jim.

PS. How do you go on with the hose clips do you try and refit them?

NO! the new sump hose will come with the clips, the pump ones can be replaced by jubilee’s or, if fitting a new pump it will come with clips.

Dont know about 4 years ago but I am increasingly finding modified parts being supplied without any modification instructions inside at all.
eg, Hotpoint Fridge defrost heater kit, the Samsung re-positioned evaporator ntc to name just 2 recent examples.
I think they are supplying parts assuming they are fitted by the agent or own personel with all the details on their laptops.

just plonk a camera on any large roundabout and prosecute the idiots who dont know how to drive round them might be a better bet then targetting those barely over the speed limit.

looks like we may have a crooked landlord swopping oven doors around the flats in order to get me to repair them for free! Just removed 2 hinges and they are certainly more than a month or so old. Thats south London for you!

need to get your meter hooked up to the circ pump and check for voltage when it dies, could be the toc in the windings cutting out. If no voltage then nothing for it but PCB.
