“first make sure the clock is in manual mode is this just not flashing?” some clock will go in to manual mode when you reset them some wont. look to see if there is the word auto or an A in the display if yes the oven still wont function check your owners manual
“there are 2 plastic coupling pieces between the knobs and the switches and these break so switch cannot move “
turn the knob and watch the red switch on the left. make sure the switch moves as you turn the knob if yes its okif yes to the above its probably down to one of 2 things
1 the big red switch on the left has a failed contact
2 there is a safety thermostat that stop the oven if it gets too hot. it will be a small round unit with 2 wire on it screwed to the top or the back of the ovenif clock and couplings ok my bet is on the big switch but i cant be certain. if you remove it and turn it over you may see a burnt out contact

check the door hinges. the plastic hinge piece can move ( item 0552 on diags part no 165296) this lowers the door enough to cause problems

E91 is a communication error between the 2 boards. being the control panel and the main power board
it can be as simple as a bad connection. find the connection wire between the 2 boards and unplug it and put it back 3 times to clean the contacts
then see how it goesDave

ModeratorRe: LG F1256QD tripping electrics after cycle completed
are you sure its the machine and not some other appliance?
check for leaks under the machine in case itva dampness problem
unplug machine to make sure its the problem ( ie if it still trips when its not plugged in it can be the machine)

ModeratorRe: Whirlpool 859204215010 heater replacement
cant confirm correct part number
looked in connect no heater listed
looked in Qualtex but had to search WWDC8420 gave no results if i added /2Qualtex gave part number C00311143 against your number of C00312066
you need to double check as your number may well be correct for the /2 variant but have no whirlpool access

ModeratorRe: Miele W3830 Paragon Plus Tacho fault?
you will have to check both but first check the motor. its prob unlikely to be an open circuit coil so suspect magnet broken. if that ok check pcb Triac

ModeratorRe: LG front load WM WD8051C
if the motor brushes spark then it can cause the trips to go. Also suspect the heater if it trips on a wash programme
take each brush off the motor and see how long they are. New brushes are about 20mm long but they still work down to about 5mm.Dave
