    do not rely on neon srewdrivers they are a good guide that’s all. element needs a live and a neutral to work so if you get all lives it wont

    common fault on these is the thermistor on the heater fails and it stop heating. I have a hotpoint heater one in my pocket for test purposes but the actual one is only available with the heater.

    to test it you need to measure its resistance to see if it to low. just measure a hopoint one and I am getting 14000 ohms at current room temp

    can see it more clearly now
    have you tries putting door back together as it looks like the door outer pushes the spring arms to tension it

    Re: Replacing door handle on Samsgun Washer Dryer

    judging by these pictures. it shows the spring clipped into the door handle. if that is correct mechanically there would have to be a second spring pushing the door handle down when the door is together
    Have you got another spring ?

    its only a guess here as i cant get info for miele and i would have to see the machine
    but
    are these tubes an overflow for the wash tub, if yes its either

    overfilling or the door seal is letting water splash through

    cant see it properly but it looks like a merloni built machine. have had the back on this move round and put things out of line without leaking, look at other things round the rear to see if it looks like it moved. A big give away is normally the heater as it twists out of line

    since they are simple simmerstats it sound like you have a connection wrong
    check all the wires out using the other units as a guide
    pay particular attention to the load and live connection

    Dave

    all the pictures I can find are identical to original units so wires should not move

    not exactly but the conversion should still work the only one that can be a bit different is the pilot light circuits

    Pilot = S
    Line = P1
    LoadA = 2
    Neutral = P2
    LoadB = 4

    if in doubt post a picture of both units so we can see terminal labels

    Re: Zanussi zwg7120k filter

    there are 19 machines with the same model so cannot be accurate. would need the Pnc number to tie it down

    If there is a filter it will be between the tub and the pump. find the pump and trace the pipe back. have even seen pumps and filters mounted on the bottom of the tub

    Re: Bosch WFT2800 filter access

    cant find this model on bosch there seems to be an LG with similar number

    but

    if the filter wont unscrew more than half a turn it means there is a hairclip or something like jamming it. to clear it you will have to take off the hose from the drum to the filter and remove the obstruction to enable it to be extracted

    mad isn’t it we all know who makes it but both sides seem to be disowning it
    you could always give crosslee a ring and see what they say

    but chances are the timers are the same but you just cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}

    according to Qualtex 52841 timer changes number to
    421309242661
    and they show stock at around £22

    tds shows TDV850W pnc 94900060000

    timer for that model is 5026 19 72-00 / 9

    also if you look up above number in connect it cross refs to the timer in the white knight site for the model starting 0312
