think you may be right and the owners manual shows a date of aug 2001 so it looks like it may be up to 15 year old

Re: bosch WAQ series washing machine

This is the problem with Bosch these days it can be a lottery but its the same for a lot of manufacturers as cost wins over quality. I still buy buy the WAE range and as far as i know they can still have a bearing change

may have one if you get stuck

transformer is in sharp combi unit rated 900w using i think a 1.16uF cap

have the rest of the model info in work

when you say high voltage probe, if it was designed for tv dont use it

transformer will give out about 2500V AC

I use pulley as a lever. only put in the rear bolt of the pulley but leave it loose enough so it will flip over towards the drum. put the belt around and then pull the pulley back and hook it into position. put the other bolt in and your away

a point to note though is you are posting on a public forum where we have to be guarded about what we say

why dont you apply for trade membership, I am sure your boss wont say no to that and will help with the references reqd. After that you will have access to a wealth of knowledge

    Re: IQ500 Remove Door

dont know the correct model but it looks like a standard bosch setup

if so open door remove top left and top right screw ( if its right the screw will be about 35mm long
if fitted you will find 2 identical screws half way down the door each side

after that if fitted the door is vecroed so gently pull it away at the top and it hooks into the lower door

cant see how things are caught though there is very little room for thing to get down

if you have the original instructions it will show how to fit the door and its the reverse to take it off

    Re: siemans washer

have double checked you and see what you mean

my way of dealing with this would be to remove the front panel. I know you cannot remove the boot or lock but you can get enough room to get your hand in. a lot of locks of this type need 2 hands to open them. Pull the emergency pull and hold it with one hand and push the hook with the other

Re: Caple Gastron GR1201IV Rage Oven – LED Display and Blown

is it blowing a fuse or an rcd

if its a fuse its a short somwhere if its an rcd ( look for the test button if its got one its an rcd) its an earth fault and any of the element can cause this
