ModeratorRe: Hoover Nextra Dishwasher issue
most drain pump problems are down to an obstruction like glass or crockery jamming the impellor
you say you have checked the pump but have you opened it to check for the above
also the first thing any programme does is drain so does the pump run then ?

Key Lock
Prevents the program settings from being changed. After having selected the program and the available options, hold down the two
option buttons for 3 seconds (see “Dryer description”)
A prolonged beep will sound when the buttons are pressed and the LEDs on the options buttons will flash slowly twice. The LEDs
on the previously selected options will then remain lit but will no longer be modifiable.
If you attempt to change the settings with KEY LOCK activated, 3 short beeps will sound and 3 rapid flashes will warn you that it is
not possible to modify the program or the options underway.
Hold down the options buttons for three seconds to deactivate the KEY LOCK option. KEY LOCK can be selected with all programs.
The OFF position switches off the dryer.maybe

ModeratorRe: overheated circuit board rangemaster
apart from its probably blown that board as well no idea
one of the problems with electronics is they hate surges and wires shorting out. it can pop chips a lot faster than any fuse can blow

I looked it up and got the same thing but there are only 2 of these locks
3 pin and 4 pin so count the number of connections
for 3 terminal https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/catalog … t/?q=int43for 4 terminal https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/catalog … t/?q=int42

no but most use a heater the is either part of the wash motor or in a tube leading into or out of the motor. either way its in the base

ModeratorRe: Lg seal with out without tube ?
assume you are talking door seal
not sure what they mean but some lg seals have a pipe entering the top of the seal from a recirculating pump

well you have almost answered your own post
its a heat problem. the heater is not working so machine takes longer
there is a few things it could be but you need to find and test the heater first

difficult to be sure but it sounds like its overfilling
if you search for a local engineer on this site it will be a lot cheaper

ModeratorRe: siemens topline washer dryer
the tacho small generator that generates an ac voltage
there are 6 or 7 pins on your motor which are as follows
2 pins armature
2 pins (or 3) field coil
2 pins tachofirst use a multimeter on low ohms scale and find which pins join to which pins. ie hold meter lead on first pin then move other lead down other pins till you get a reading. keep doing this till you can say what all pins do. the tacho coil may need a higher resistance scale to detect
the lowest ohm readings are the armature and field coil so ignore these pins. set meter to a low ac voltage scale (millivolts), put meter leads on the tacho output pins. spin motor and you should see an output.
if you get a signal it is important you check the voltage get to the board so buzz through the wiring harness to make sure you don’t have a broken wireDave

ModeratorRe: siemens topline washer dryer
by the look of it its a new rear end for the motor part number 496876 £58.86 from siemans
if it was this it sounds like the motor tacho is not working. the tacho is a magnet at the back of the motor armature that spins in a coil. it feeds a signal back to the electronics. make sure the magnet has not been damaged and check if there is an output with a multimeter

ModeratorRe: Looking for a part
to be honest you wont find one. as Ken said there is a similar unit in the hotpoint motor doing a similar job but cannot confirm its temperature rating. best to look for a secondhand motor on ebay or in you case a faulty one as long as the toc is ok
