Re: Smeg SUK81MX: Oven not working

first of all if the clock is not in manual mode the oven wont work. also the clocks can go faulty so dont rule it out
next thing i would look at is the multibank switch behind the knob. get contact burn out all the time on them on various ovens

also think you may have a letter missing in model as its not coming up on the smeg site

as far as your engineer goes there are plenty of good quality engineers who use this site and you can search for one in your local area

first thing i would do is ask the site shop

quote the model and 854190515501 which is on the label

since ignis is part of whirlpool spares will be available but whirlpool are not known for their cheapness

Re: Indesit IS60V Fan Scraping against Rear panel

from what i can see this is a metal fan
answer carefully bend the blades just enough so it does not touch and try to bend them as equal as you can
you have to first decide if its touching the cover or the casing. if its the cover, has the cover been damaged pushing it closer to the fan

Re: Washer only spinning at slow speed

you can look at the normal things
1 filter ie is water going out quick enough
2 load only washing for 1 person may mean the loads get out of balance more easily and machine will not spin. try with nothing in
3 i dont know with bush but is there either a knob to vary the spin speed or a button to turn off the spin? Lost track how many times have been called out to machine only to find the spin turned off normally by grand kids

not sure what the third wire is for but all you need to connect to is the reed switch for the rinse aid

Re: LG F1403RD6 washer/dryer – working fine but not drying

if you diagnose the fault and get it wrong its your problem also if you buy a part and it fails very quickly its also your problem whereas if an engineer fitted it there would be a guarantee
the tumble dryer has a separate fan motor and a heater element plus thermostats if any of these fail your dryer wont work
and as the engineer said it could also be the control board
to diagnose the fault you have to be familiar with electrical testing techniques

sound like it trying to run programme 1

turn knob to one of the dots (where programmes finish ) this will reset programme and allow you to try another one. its a child friendly feature so the programme cant be altered by busy fingers once started

first thing I would try is the motor brushes
