    Re: adp8242

then i know exactly what it is

its the power supply on the board easy fix if you can solder a new component into the board

i am sure one of the engineers on this site can sort it for you or i can if you are close to me or send me the board

what it does mean is your second hand board is faulty

if you listen carefully does this happen

    set prog and start dishwasher
    pump runs
    machine fills
    machine washes for a while
machine goes “beep beep” ( this can be very faint)
machine goes quiet for a few secs and then starts up again

to be honest they are known for being complete junk. if he has had it five years then that’s really good most don’t see the guarantee out

pay a bit more and get a bosch machine bit more reliable and you can get parts if you need them unlike the bush

the front and the oven cavity are separate parts

its not easy but you have to loosen the front to get a gap to install it

had a similar problem with another miele. machine would start and after a short time display would go blank and machine would stop. traced fault to a 5v regulator chip on the pcb

see simple pcb repair tips I documented it there
    different board but similar fault

    Re: Diplomat ADP 8502 problem

its got to be a power supply problem on the programmer from what you are describing. its like the batteries going on your remote control

machine starts, there is not enough power to supply needs so programmer computer crashes, all light go off. prog reboots as power returns and process repeats
there is enough power to programme the unit but as soon as you start a prog its too much
some professionals can fix the board and there is some firms out there that will do it otherwise its a new board

    Re: Miele T260 electronics fault

i cant see that moving the machine around would cause this so you are looking at a paossible pcb failure.
dont know on this machine but when you use it normally does the diplay go out when you open the door. only ask because my miele washer goes blank when door is open. poss door switch problem?
