    Re: Smeg A1-1 dead

if a cooker gets turned off most of the time all it is is the clock

but the clock only controls the oven so

i see its a gas hob so does the ignition work ?

look again at the clock if the is an A in the display or the word auto then its not in manual

you will have to trace the motor circuit. cant think from memory but therer may be more than 1 relay involved. check motor make sure you have all connections would not be the first time i did not get the brushes to connect properly

put a picture of both sides of the board on here may help

sounds like the timer has had it. from the way you describe it there it not much else it can be
if the power supply in the timer was at fault I would expect it to cycle much quicker than 30 secs and all the light would go off with it.

but you cant discount it. I had a miele that would work for 3o secs then die. eneded up it was power supply chip on the board

I assume you are looking at the float in the base. if water leaks it lift the float and drain the dishwasher to stop the leak. it does NOT drain the water that has leaked into the base just what is in the wash area

if your leak gets onto electrical parts it will cause the tripping

    Re: Beko WM5100W keeps draining

unfortunately when the pump has blow it has also blown the electronic switch on the control board called a triac. to fix the machine this will have to be replaced or the whole programmer will have to be changed
you can change the triac if you can solder pcb components but there is a possibility other components on the board may have been damaged as well

    Re: Smeg DF614 dishwasher fault

correct no drain in time allowed

the unit may drain down but it can still think it is not empty due to blockages

find the pressure switch and disconnect the tube (thin black tube normally) and blow back down the tube into the dishwasher to see if it is clear

have that problem all the time but i have come to the conclusion i am not paying for it so unless its a silly price it does not matter

just checked connect and they want 33.14 plus V for the switch with a suggested selling price of 46 plus. servast will deliver it for 35

qualtex staff are really good for most thing but smeg is not one of them

the other problem is the more time you take the more time the customer is without
if it was my cust quote 45-50 for part plus fitting

if its a direct drive motor then no brushes motor is electronically generated 3 phase
if it is direct stator look like this

you could check stator, loose plugs and wires but if the fails then its the pcb

looks like this one but its a letter model is DUCO(not zero)08CSS

may help searching elsewhere but for that price i would just order it and save messing

if you did not do it first time clean the hose from the pump to the drum
    +
there is a thin hose in the machine going from the bottom of the machine to an air operated switch. (dont blow into tube until you disconnect switch ans you can ruin some of them this way ) check this tube is clear also the bell it is connected to at the bottom
theory is this. the machine may be empty but if the sensor is blocked it will think its full, so clean filter light and no spin
