Re: bosch dishwasher sgs-43-f-52 problem !!!

as with most dishwasher problems you have to check the wash bars are turning
1 check the holes in the bars are not blocked
2 make sure when you load it nothing can stop bars turning
    3 make sure it heats

    Re: Indesit interlock question

if the machine runs and the motor turns then its prob the board

its not unusual if the lock fails for it to damage the board

remove board and look for blown components

Re: Need Drum Bearing For Hotpoint WMD962PUK Cannot Locate S

is the machine under 5 years old ?

if yes is it covered under hotpoints 5 year parts guarantee

if yes on both counts hotpoint will give you the part for free but only charge you for fitting it. prob works out about the same in the end but you wont have to do the job

in trying to answer your problem i have included 2 files

2 sent private message with complete breakdown

see picture of knob attached 099625 on diag

there is a slot in the knob with a plastic clip. push clip towards the middle of the knob. at the same time depress the knob and turn anticlockwise. all being well knob will unlatch
where the knob off item 099627 on diag has a nut inside it

check the wiring to the motor

the board is not receiving the signal from the tachometer at the back of the motor causing the motor to turn too fast

    Re: Domestic Appliance Research

the public seem to have a lower expectation of appliance life these days so scrap things without checking
as a case in point recently bought a faulty AEG condensor dryer on ebay for £8.50. owner said it went wrong so they just bought another one
fault bad solder joint on circuit board so cost to fix £0
if they had not ebayed it it would be in a scrap yard, so how many go to their end with silly faults

    Re: Domestic Appliance Research

where as i can see where your questions are leading you may be aiming it at the wrong people. people in this trade tend to fix things, at least i do. we also know what is rubbish so what to avoid. so its quite a different situation from joe public who have different point of veiw dependant on their income and social class. If i go to a well off client I would see Miele and Bosch appliances (and others) but to a council house tennant we are more likely to see Bush and Hotpoint (Indesit) or the like
you are most likely to get answers from traders on here and if i want an appliance I look around for a faulty one of a good make and fix it

    hope it helps

Re: Noisy Bosch wta2000 tumble dryer

this dryer is a white knight dryer in disguise

it depends on what sort of noise you are getting

ie is it a clunk, scraping , or just noizy.
in the end you may have to strip it to find out

various things go. one of the most common is the fan. since this dryer is not bosch built most spares are very cheap
