Re: Miele WT 2670 Fault F4

as far as i can see F4 seems to relate to the tumble dryer side of the machine and has to do with the air flow temp sensor

could be as simple as a broken wire

    hope this helps

but dont forget to unplug before you look

sounds like the circulating pump motor may be at fault

if you listen very carefully you may hear a faint hum but sometimes you cant hear that
you would need to check if power is getting to the motor when it goes quiet.
if this motor has failed the retail price is over £100 plus vat

Re: Creda W100FW interlock replaced, machine dead

i assume when you put the old lock in even without the machine turned on at the plug the door latches and wont open

if thats the case when the lock blew it also blew one of the tracks on the pcb on the timer
this is fixable with a soldering iron and time and patience. follow the cable from the n connector on the door lock onto the timer to find problem. you will have to remove timer to sort it

make sure plug is removed before you open the lid

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cooker-Oven-T … 0739796978

also Espares page lists as obsolete but 2 other part numbers listed

Re: Neff U1661 main oven not working – controller or thermos

one of the problems with blowing fuses through printed circuit boards is some of the damage may be unseen.
from an engineering point of veiw my first search would be the component that controls the fan. this may be a relay with welded contacts which is easy to replace. the error on the board may be it senses the fan is running before it turns it on
as far as an enginner is concerned you could look in the find an enginner section of this website
    you could ask

    http://www.qualityelectronicrepairs.co. … d-z_1.html

and see if they repair your board

its not uncommon for slight earth faults on the heater to cause problems like this have you checked it

will it do a spin only or will it do the same thing ?

    fan oven

fan runs all the time element goes on and off with the thermostat

    fan grill

grill element stay on till it reaches temp. then element switches off and fan turns on

if that not what you are doing you must have a wiring error or a switch failure

a lot of ovens have a cooling fan that cuts in as the unit gets hot. if yours has and it does not cut in an overheat stat cuts in and shuts everything down 4-5 mins sounds about right

Re: Whirlpool ADG 7550 won’t start

if the lights go out before the door clicks shut itr may well be a wire broken
dishwashers have a habit of breaking the wires at the bottom of the door where the wires exit the door panel and enter the base

sound like you have got the oven on the fan grill setting not the fan oven setting where the fan runs all the time
