    Re: WHIRLPOOL 3LSC8255EQ1

    really simple to change this

if i am right you will need gearbox and spin clutch unit which is sat on top of box

    as a quick guide

remove control panel screws slide forward and hinge it back

unplug wires to casing and remove clips holding casing in position tilt towards you and slide off

unclip pump, unplug motor , capacitor and earth wire remove clips and remove

take top off paddle in tub look down inside and remove plastic cover and remove bolt holding paddle. remove paddle under paddle there is somtimes a metal clip and washer remove

tilt machine at about 45 degree angle remove 3 bolts holding gearbox then lower box away

all you have to do is swop clutch and put back try not to turn tub if u do it will drop (not a lot ) and you will have to turn tub pushing up to be able to get box back in

    Hope this helps

there are three of these machines need prod number to find which 1

are you getting a fault code coming up ?

as a long shot i assume the progammer knob is working and you are not selecting the same programme every time

    Re: Diplomat AWM8513 pulses?

this sounds like a timer problem

this is a long shot but have had a few machines where the power supply to the board is through a capacitor. as these age the voltage on the board goes down causing all sorts of problems

had a dishwasher the other week filled ok but as soon as motor kicked in it died ( just like a low battery )

check timer board to see how power is suppplied to board

    hope this may help

some of the trade list may not be trading now so you have to ring around

i use Qualtex their website is not as good as it could be but there has been small improvements but their call centre staff are first class.

    hope this helps

have you check for power to the fan motor when it goes off

that would seal the problem does sound like the motor

    Re: Zanussi FLA1001W not heating

nts readings should be on early hybrid timers

    30 degrees 17k
    40 11.5k
    50 7.8k
    60 5.5k

i would put a straight resistor say 20k set to 50 degrees or higher and see if it heats

on late pcb units nts starts at

    20 degrees 6k
    60 degres 1250 ohms

also on some zanussi auto with pcb mounted in a box by rh suspension spring the timer is programmed to skip heat if no rise in temp is found within a set time. no fault code will appear. had one of the ended up new pcb now ok

    hope this helps
