no more ideas but it does sound like a gas volume problem

hose kinked, tap not on properly. gas hose not plugged all the way in etc

common fault for no drum turn is the capacitor

it normally starts with light loads but need a push to get a heavier load moving

well i would say its a board fault

you either need to fix the board which means soldering electronic components or you replace it

try starting the machine then remove the ribbon cable to the sensors

just to see if it stops beeping with the ribbon removed

problem here is white knight made all the spares for these. They were so cheap it was not worth anyone else tooling up to make them.

result was when WK gave up all the spares evaporated

    Dave

could probably find WK’s part no for the drum but there is not point if you cant get it

white knight as far as i know made all the gas dryers

so these dryers appeared under many names over the years white knight, baumatic , cannon, Bosch, carleton to name a few. Some electric some Gas

drums are more or less the same with slight differences. not an easy job to say which drum will fit what

    Dave

found 2 drums on ebay, one for a sensor dryer the other not but he wants silly money and they are in ireland

    nope

    one hose means cold feed
2 hoses and you have to make sure hot and cold correctly placed

    as a test
select just a rinse. That should be cold, if its hot its wrong
hot rinses and not only will you waste energy but you would have one heck of a time ironing what comes out

well with the buttons not being next to each other i would take the panel apart and look for water damage to the board that might link the buttons together electrically

well if there was an error i would expect an error code

this is more like a programmer problem

first thing i would do is disconnect the heaters as we all know odd earth faults can cause all sorts of odd faults

after that i would open the board and look to see if any of the caps are bulging

if it has one hose it should only be on a cold supply
