the frezer maybe freezing things but by how much ?

to be safe food has to be -18 or below chances are yours is not getting there

as heat pump systems age they lose efficiency and struggle to maintain temperatures

from the description yours is an older system. in the older systems the gas is sent to the freezer first and only when the freezer is cold enough is there any gas left over to cool the fridge. my guess is there is never any gass left over so your fridge never cools

with warmer weather make sure there is plenty of ventilation around the unit as if it over heats it can cause similar problems

if the cable is going to break its right on the wiring clip check this carefully

discolouration is from the heat of the dryer

if you want to be certain trace the cable back to the board and you should be able to read the ntc from there

ok if the element is ok

you need to check both thermostats
then the wiring from the timer

if all that is ok its most likley a timer contact failure

you need to check the thermistor from the board connection to make sure there are no cable breaks

if it is broken it tends to break on the clips as the cable goes from the drum to the casing

and yes you can buy the board plus you will need to buy a programmer plus you will need to buy the correct software

well if the switch is giving the wrong signal then it will continue

you could try a long shot

on Hotpoint machines the pressure switch can be calibrated by adding a couple of litres of water, then selecting a drain programme and let it keep going till the end

well neff service manuals are only available to their agents so its unlikely you will find one. I have no access to them

they may not be professional but if the error code is correct the 2 boards are not talking to each other. then its a guess as to which one is causing the problem. Its one of those toss a coin to change one first or bite the bullet and change both

if you do work in the trade you can apply for trade access. we have to be careful what we say on the public side and we wont share any tech info

    found this on the web

    Dave

Error E1006 is a very bad error and it means there is a communication error between the front display board and the main board. All you can do is take the microwave apart and make sure the wire connections between the two are still securely plugged in. If the issue continues, the front display board needs to be replaced first and if it continues after that, replace the main board.

also check the wiring to the thermistor has not got a break in it

as for replacing the board, most hotpoint boards have to be programmed after installation
