ignor the fact its a US manual and talking about 120V since the uk operation will prob be very similar but at 240V

Moderatorwithout the model have no ref to what your talking about but you need to look at both parts carefully and try to figure out what holds it on
often its a small plastic lug or something like thats snapped and its so small you dont see it at first

the Parnell brough back memories. The only machine you could pump the water to save and it pumped it down below so when you spun the washing you could pump the water back up and re use it on more washing

the manufacturers answer is to change a £200 board but you may be able to source a relay and solder it in

Moderatorthe heater connections are on the side of the motor
its the largest connector
the other connectors on the motor are
temperature sensors and motor connections ( at rear )

ModeratorTypo for resistant read resistance
all things have resistance even insulators
in some machines if there is a slight leakage to earth it can upset the electronics. not had it on a dishwasher but it is common on a lot of washing machines
