I had another where both brushes had worn so replaced them, after 1 cycle it errored again so went back to check, looked like one of the brushes had overheated and the case had stuck to the holder with the brush being stuck inside.

have had problems like that with cheap copy brushes using poor case plastic that wont take heat

There was a tech note on ASWO’s EURAS system that gave the values, not at the right pc now to get on and check.

think he missed K out so it will be 7 to 9 K ohms I think

are you sure about that. the valve you linked to is 325v DC and at 9 ohms that gives a current of 36A

like any solenoid valve it can be checked for continuity

as far as the timer is concerned its open circuit either by fault coil or faulty wiring

if the door seal does not contact properly then it allows moist air in which freezes

in a frost free unit the moist air is moved to the rear where is freezes and turns to water during defrost cycle but in a non frost free unit it will frost the closest cold surface

so the more the door is open or the more dampness in the air the more frost you will get

there is no tech bullitins about this but this unit is not a self defrosting unit so you expect to see frost build up. the key here is how quick

what do you mean by the term “door compartment”

well that means the damp air is getting past one of the seals

are you sure the condensor is clear as well as the filters ?

Actually sharp microwaves seem to be very good quality & last for long time.

agree there but if you pay Miele prices for it thats different

there are various reasons why it floods the base. normally a hole in a hose or the door rubber. does it dribble down the front of the machine from the door or soap draw? it can end up underneath by going through the kick strip
