tis why i said keep a jotter handy – they are there, but you need bekos spares code to find them.

once you get the gdha part, get a jotter notepad and make a note of every beko branded gdha spare you use, and then use that code in the future, the gdha spares markup is ridiculous considering they dont even repackage most of the beko spares, instead just putting a label over it.

well its on their website as discontinued, and baumatic could find the also find the model no but the parts inside did not match the parts on their spares list.

i still have the oven waiting to be scrapped, for anyone sad enough to want to play spot the difference between the oven and its schematic 😀

with regards to the charming girls at Baumatic spares, as loverly and helpful as they try to be, they are hampered by no manufacturer back up, or access to field engineer experience. they are essentially a callcentre with connect on their screen. so yeh, baumatic = style over substance, form over function, profit over quality.

am i right in thinking euronics are doing a dastardly and advertising the 1400 spin model for 299. if thats right then, surely a h/p wmf740 is a better buy?!?

have you considered washing up liquid used instead of low-foam soap powder… i,e overfoaming – more usual with d/w but have come across that with washers too…

on the flipside, always challenge a speed claim if you feel its unfair, and financially viable.

got pulled for 96mph in a ’95 skoda felicia a few years ago. its lmax listed speed in the manual was 88… its a 1.3 with archaic technology so i told the officer straight, that cant be right – its a skoda, showed hte manual to prove its not even listed as being able to go that fast. i then asked why they hadnt pulled the guy overtaking me…

they ignored my protestations and decided to prosecute, and to give the officer on the day credit he did say “we are ruled by our guns, if it says you are over, we have to give you a ticket, if you wanna fight it go ahead, but you gotta prove you cant do 96mph…

cue phone calls to local rolling roads, cheapest was £160 for a comprehensive bhp test… and when the fine was for £80 + 3 pnts i pleaded guilty for the joy of hte ease and convenience. it sucks but sometimes the poisons in cheaper than the prevention

in the big T’s favour, just had 3 jobs this month, all new custs whove got our details from thompson, no-ones mentioned bt p/h or other ads, etc, though whihc obv implies we might have had work from them, but if we notice its a new cust we always ask where they got our details from…

    Re: Baumatic appliances

one reason not to offer baumatic.

    BG550GBL

baumatic are adamant theres a pcb potentiometer and remlevant thermostats in it.

ive been to see one, there isnt, theres a dual phial regular t/stat and regular timer.

thyeve since cost us majority of our letting agent works because we couldnt repair the baumatic oven put in by the kitchenfitter who did the kitchen, not our fault of course – esp if Baumatic dont know whats in their machines but in the eyes of the letting agents, it wasnt their fault either esp as they had 1/2months rent withheld

the companys’ ovens are a joke. half their washers are now chinese haier crud, along with most of their d/w’s

even hp are a better brand than baumatic for most stock, so use that as your benchpost, a belief most of their machines are fagor stock is misplaced!!!

    Re: WAA28161GB/07 Paddles.

bsh spares will only see the same as what you can see on bsh spares, an engineer confirmed spare can take 2-3 days to get.

bsh online shows a sealed drum assembly with no spares exploded from it which implies paddles are part of an inner drum only.

cust might have recieved spares due to new stock canibalising, or from a recycled bsh appliance.

    Re: Hotpoint Sealed Drum Replacement

HP spares are desperate for trade, and will price match if you have a better price elsewhere, got a drum for a wml540 coming tomo for just under 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} less than their online price.

gotta be a good blag (and trade – obv) to manage this 😀
