just be aware that there can often be more than one error code, so you might have to keep replacing and clearing error codes until the dignostic test run shows you E00 on position 10

    following your rule of thumb, 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of 10 is 1, = 11…

used 8uf instead of 7.5’s but wouldnt wanna go much further outside those parameters… never tried it and my electronic knowledge is thin at best – just assumed too much of a boost will fry certains parts

    Re: zanussi zwf 14581 diagnostics

yes dont forget about the diagnostics!!!

should be freely available if you have a connect account and pnc 🙂

    otherwise pm me your email…

thing is constant drain is the machine in like a safelock mode, whyby almost anything electrical in it will cause this symptom :bang:

once u have the diagnostics what you need to do is:

read last error code first – (match up with error description, and check component(s) associated, replace if necessary)

    clear last error code

    run full diagnostic test routine.

    and so on…

    laborious but usually useful.

unlikely as the nextra didnt have a 9kg drum iirc

certainly with hoovers, the larger teh capacity, the longer the element, therefore varying models…

also if it makes things financially better for you ive got prices of 56 and 65 net respectively both in stock from connect?!?!

also note the 2 ringed fixings…

one looks like it has 2 moulds for screws and the other has just 1 and a wiring clip

Re: Hacked Off About Internet Pricing?

bsh are well known for these kickbacks, its getting stupid now on some their machines, they want it displayed and on show in reputable retailers, who will look after the customer, but why would someone display a 500 quid siemens, when it can be obtained on the web for less than trade.

theyre correct that they arent sellign it at a different price, to my distributor. but by offering kickbacks based on turnover or quantity transactions, its making top range stock not worth selling up to.

reason for this? every premium/totr model even sold at cost price, (and theoretically because its premium, wont fail under warranty) means a big chunk of your minimum target gets met.

kickbacks arent necessarily wrong, but it should be fixed {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} rate. so as a retailer you recieve the benefit of promoting certain brands fairly.

so for example indie only sells £5000 of bsh kit a quarter, they then receive a fixed kickback cheque for say 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of that as a reward. on same scale, comet, who then sell 500,000 of bsh kit, get a nice big cheque back. at least that way its fair and i dunno 5thats the same a 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount up front isnt it ?! im too brain drained for this one…

dhl always been good here . next day delivery was almost always next day, unless it was sent over the weekend. had a few issues with packages going on the wrong van when they moved over to the scanner but its all back running smoothly now the hub have the hang of it

and unless our regular driver was ill/holidays, if he had us on his list he’d always get to us by about 11/11:30…

can only see that being of interest to manufacturers with their own engineers really tho, i.e bsh and indesit, gdha, and maybe serviceforce (but their call outs are cheaper than the other 2 anyway) who can justify a £80+ call out

unless appliance repair referall charges are much lower, then i cant see many app engineers signing up.

    this is what worrys me.

had ordered teh other one from connect anyway just in case (needed ot make up an order) but they can have it back, as its filthy and been out before anyway and had countless dispatch labels partially torn off it… nd a half torn hotpoint label!

Re: Tricity Bendix washing machine diagnostic

well. put it this way. if you didnt make a note of the engineers twiddles on the machine, and dont want to pay for an engineer to come out and assess the machine, all you can do is replace to fix.

you know your old part no. which has been superceded by this:

    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … ement.html

im sure if you order it from ukwg you will get all the assistance required to help you fit it. there are tutorials elsewhere online and im sure a couple on here about it too.

The other thing to consider is that teh tags on the element might have corroded if its been poorly fitted and leaked onto it, the wires on the ntc can pull out easily, or if they haven been re-secured, been chaffed through, or as an outside possibility, massive limescale buildup on the ntc sensor

sold loads of aw1201s and been out to a few of them. none of the problems ive come across have involved the heater/ntc stat failing yet. was it elux/tricity/zanussi’s service force or some other group who replaced the heater last time???

biggest issues with them was blocked filters.

and what makes you think its not getting hot enough? are you washing a thermometer or one of those ultra-trendy-in-the-90’s global hypercolour colour changing t shirts??? or something liek that ???

you tell us, your guess is as good as ours, without looking at the machine its very hard to say as thats a symptom of a multitude of potential faults…

the other thing to remember is those w/d main boards are a sod to refit if you attempt to take them out…

    Re: Tumble dryer confusion

based on like for like usage the hotpoint will die before the bosch, we have a hoover six that has lasted 5 years of heavy usage. pretty sure its about to die soon tho.

personally i like the whirlpool dryers, but again expensive spares

but tbh if it was me id get the cheaper timer operated large capacity condenser. hotpoint tcm580… £250… and bin it when it dies…
