Re: Bosch classixx no water from upper spray arm

first thing is to check if spray arm is getting water to it, and if it is, whether its blocked!!!

all too common is that its just been gunked up with sweetcorn/baked bean shells, plastic/foil wrap or rice…

pound for pound go with the zanussi, it means you can put a work top over it and usually the case for requiring a narrow width appliance is because floor space is at a premium therefore worksurface space is also compromised likewise, and more so with a top loader!!

❗ A dishwasher is for Washing. to prevent future blockages always scrape plates off into the bin to remove all large leftovers, then rinse plates off prior to dishwashing – you wouldnt put a gravy/sauce-laden plate into a fresly run washing up bowl, so dont do it to the poor d/w! ❗

PS make sure you regularly check the filter, apprix every month if used daily!

    Re: Haier spare parts

have managed to get an interlock direct from china for a w/m that was under guarantee supposedly for free (but cust. couldnt get anywhere with haier uk service team?!) but beware, it was sent by dhl without p&p being paid for.- had to fight and waste a lot of time with both dhl and haier uk getting the parts postage paid for post-delivery. i knew if i paid dhl i wouldnt see that £60 it cost to send from china back so i just kept declining the delivery until dhl told me carriage was finally cleared…

tbh it made the £40 jtm qouted sound cheap in terms of the hassle, and phone calls…

    K.

Ken, ive never seen a diplomat manual so much so i dont think mfis team that operated round here ever gave them to the customers! it was just logical thought of course!

prolly teaching grandma to suck eggs now but went to one of these last month where the elderly owner accidentally knocked the garage setting/cabinet warming switch on. youve prolly spotted it by the stat anyway, but might be worth a check if you havent already?

Re: Bosch Slimline – leak from underneath?

circulation motor seals commonly fail, salt regen dispenser less so. replaced enough circ seals. also the circ pump housing can degrade from rinseaid attacking the plastic. if that has happened it might be worth inspecting the impeller as that may be on its last legs too.

20 cm from anywhere on a slimline is virtually central, so could even be main sump seal but less likely…

power off and pull out about 6 inches – behind hte plastic kick plate (torx either side) there should be a metal panel on the front that can be removed by taking the 2 torx screws out

one of the other lads on here will probably have more specific instructions, and/or correct me, as my brains a bit fuzzy tonight 🙂

    if you want exp. diagrams:

always remember to ask these lads from ukwg for prices before ordering anything direct from bosch as they *can* sometimes be cheaper 🙂
