IT will probably be wet contacts on diaphragm switch leave for 24 hrs and it will dry out

Check the spray arm ,there is a small flap in it which it uses to sense water level ,if it missing or displaced that could well be the problem

It works by sensing the current drawn by the motor If the motor is jammed or spray arms blocked the motor will draw more current .It also uses this system for water level control

You can change the heater on its own pt no is 480131000114. You may find you get sent a kit so that it looks nothing like the old heater but there should be full instructions with the new part

Have you checked the loom and motor plug had a few instances of the wires breaking inside the insulation at the plug end. The f6 just means the pcb cant detect any current being drawn through the motor

Been told that Whirlpool are stopping making vented dryers and will only produce heat pump dryers within the next twelve months

f6 is usually the water matrix on the left hand side pt no is 481241868368 However it is worth giving the switch in the sump a good clean first and also check for broken wires in the door
