Check that the splines have not worn on the agitator first as that is the commonest fault when not washing

Have you checked for low insulation on the motor or wash heater

Could do with the 85 number as there are a few different machines with that model.
If it is the smeg built washer dryer then it will be low insulation on the dryer element

You can meter the element from the pcb you should get approx 28 ohms. If that is ok it will be the pcb but would need the 85 number to get the correct part no

Its a merloni machine so if you have checked for earth leakage on the heaters and motor and they are OK I would suggest the module

    Re: whirlpool AZB7570 dryer f02

F02 is a control board error

You could try resetting it by turning timer knob to 6 o clock position and pressing start button 3 times then move knob 1 position clockwise and press start button 3 times this should clear the fault if not you will need a new board

Look under the drip tray on the front panel and you will see 2 screws, simply undo them and the front panel lifts away

Re: Whirlpool top loading washing machine clutch

    Very easy job
Undo nut from the top of the agitator then tip machine onto its back, remove 2 clips holding the pump onto the motor, unplug wiring on the motor then undo the 3 bolts holding the gearbox on and it will slide right out with the motor and clutch.
Clutch then comes off very easily. I have done quite a few and it only takes half an hr start to finish
